The Final Battle Between The Hound and The Mountain in GAME OF THRONES Gets a Lightsaber Upgrade
We’ve got a fun video here that takes the final showdown between Sandor “The Hound” Clegane and his brother Gregor “The Mountain” Clegane from the Game of Thrones finale and adds Lightsaber awesomeness to the fight.
The video was created by Immersion VFX, and it’s called “Cleganebowl with Lightsabers”. The video also includes music from Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith playing in the background. The two tracks used include “Battle of the Heroes” and “Anakin vs. Obi-Wan”.
This Star Wars mashup is appropriate for this scene, because when I was watching it for the first time and The Mountain took off his helmet to reveal his face, the first thing I thought about was the moment in Star Wars when Darth Vader took off his helmet to reveal his face to Luke.
