The Final Chapter of the STAR WARS JEDI Game Franchise Is in Development at Respawn
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor and Star War Jedi: Fallen Order developer Respawn is now in development on "the final chapter" of the series. Yes, Cal Kestis’ fantastic Star Wars story will be coming to an end with this third chapter.
Laura Miele, president of entertainment and technology at publisher EA, talked about the series as part of the company's future plans.
She said: "Over 40 million Star Wars fans have connected with Cal Kestis and his arc of becoming a powerful Jedi. Respawn is working hard to bring the final chapter of this thrilling story to players."
As a fan of these games and Cal’s story, it will be interesting to see how they bring his story to a close in the games. Fans are still holding out for hope that one day the character will be brought into a live-action Star Wars project.
Miele went on to talk about the Marvel games they are working on, saying: "While we are early in production on our Marvel games, it's important to note that the collaboration is actually founded on our successful history with Lucasfilm and Star Wars.
“We have delivered some of the highest-quality and best-selling Star Wars games of all time, with over $5 billion in net bookings. This impressive track record includes, of course, the Star Wars Jedi games."
The Marvel games they are developing include Iron Man and Black Panther.
