The Final Days of of Robin Williams Explored in Trailer For The New Documentary ROBIN'S WISH
I was crushed when I heard that Robin Williams died. The guy was one of my favorite comedians of all time and no one has been able to match his awesome comedy style and energy. Damn, he was so entertaining to watch perform!
There’s a new documentary coming out titled Robin's Wish, and it offers fans an “intimate portrait of Robin Williams and his invulnerable spirit, Robin's Wish is the story of what really happened to one of the greatest entertainers of all time - and what his mind was fighting."
The film explores the actor and comedian’s final days in 2014 and the struggles he was facing at the end of his life. The film comes from director Tylor Norwood and he explains that Robin's wife, Susan Schneider Williams, is the one who reached out to him about making this doc about the "neurological disease I’d never heard of — Lewy Body Dementia… She began telling me about herself and Robin, and what they went through in the last year and a half of his life. I told her if that was the film, I was in."
This doc is the result of years of work to present the story of what Williams was going through properly. It looks like a wonderful film and this is the synopsis:
