The Final Trailer For Joaquin Phoenix and John C. Reilly's Western THE SISTER BROTHERS Has Arrived

Joaquin Phoenix and John C. Reilly’s new film The Sisters Brothers looks like such a wonderfully charming western. The final trailer has been released for it and it focuses on some of the more dramatic elements of the film that focuses on the old west adventures of these two brothers. The first trailer that was released featured more of the comedy elements of the movie. Regardless, this has the makings of a fantastic film and I’ve heard a lot of great things about it.

The film is based on Patrick Dewitt’s novel of the same name, and the story follows "two brothers – Eli and Charlie Sisters – who are hired to kill a prospector who has stolen from their boss. The story, a genre-hybrid with comedic elements, takes place in Oregon in 1851."

The movie was directed by Jacques Audiard and also stars Jake Gyllenhaal and Riz Ahmed. The film is currently playing in LA and NY. I can’t wait to check this movie out!
