The First Episode of CRITTER HUG from CRITICAL ROLE is Now Available to Highlight Members of the Tabletop Community
Today, Critical Role dropped their first episode of Critter Hug. This series is designed to help shine the spotlight on artists, shops, indie RPG titles, and more members of the tabletop community. The show is hosted by Mica Burton and Matthew Mercer. It should be noted that the series was filmed before social distancing practices were put in place for COVID-19. New episodes will be available the first Monday of every month over at the Critical Role YouTube channel at 10 AM Pacific.
This episode highlights the indie RPG Laser Kittens (you can purchase a PDF of the book through DriveThru RPG), the D&D show Queens of Adventure, and the HollabackNerds who create a cool Critical Role Rap Battle series. Meanwhile, the friendly local game store that got the highlight this month is Funkatronic Rex in the Phoenix, AZ area.
This is a pretty fun show and it’s great to have another way to help expose people to other things and people in the community that is tabletop gaming.
