The First Footage of YOUNG JUSTICE: OUTSIDERS Will Premiere at Comic-Con
More than five years after the final episode of Young Justice aired on Cartoon Network, the first footage of the return of the series, Young Justice: Outsiders, will premiere during the panel at San Diego Comic-Con!
Warner Bros. made the announcement in a press release sent out that revealed the plans for all of the shows that they are bringing to the event. The studio says:
"The fans have waited long enough and it's time for a first look at one of the most highly anticipated shows of the year. In Young Justice: Outsiders, the teenage super heroes of the DC Universe come of age in an animated world of super-powers, Super-Villains, and super secrets. This time, the team faces its greatest challenge yet as it takes on meta-human trafficking and the terrifying threat it creates for a society caught in the crossfire of a genetic arms race spanning the globe and the galaxy."
The Young Justice: Outsiders panel will take place on Friday, July 20th at 10 am in Room 6DE. In addition to the first look footage, the panel will include appearances by producers Greg Weisman and Brandon Vietti, art director Phil Bourassa, voice director Jamie Thomasson, and members of the voice cast, Troy Baker and Stephanie Lemelin.
I'm a big fan of the series' original run and I'm stoked for its return! It'll be great to see what they end up bringing to show off at Comic-Con.
The series will premiere to the public, but you will have to get the DC Universe digital service to watch the entire season. That comes along with live-action Titans TV show, Doom Patrol, Swamp Things, and the animated Harley Quinn series.
