The First Half of the Score for HIS DARK MATERIALS Will Release This Sunday

I am crazy excited for the release of His Dark Materials on BBC and HBO next week. As with any show, one thing that I hope is amazing is the music. Well, this Sunday, November 3, the first part of the “musical anthology” from Lorne Balfe for the series will be released digitally. This will include the themes for characters including Lyra, Lord Asriel, Lee Scoresby, Mrs. Coulter, and more, as well as the opening title theme. Other themes will also be included, and I’m very excited to listen to this score.

Fans of CD and vinyl music releases will be able to purchase the album at a later date.
