The First Trailer for JUMANJI: THE NEXT LEVEL Changes Things Up in a Fun Way!

“Everything you know about Jumanji is about to change.”

Sony Pictures has unleashed the first trailer for the Jumanji: The Next Level, which will continue the adventures of the characters that we were introduced to in Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, but these characters are going to be a little different this time around.

You see… the characters in the game played by Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, and Jack Black will be different people this time around. Johnson now plays Danny DeVito’s character in video game Jumanji form and Hart plays Danny Glover’s character. The actor who played Hart in the first film is now Jack Black and Morgan Turner, who was Karen Gillan’s character in the first film, ends up in the same character.

The sequel actually looks like it will be a ton of fun, especially with Johnson and Black taking on the role of elderly people who have no experience playing video games. The movie also sees the return on Alex Wolff, Madison Iseman, Nick Jonas, Colin Hanks, Awkwafina, Rhys Darby, Massi Furlan, and Dania Ramirez. Here’s the synopsis that was released:

In Jumanji: The Next Level, the gang is back but the game has changed. As they return to Jumanji to rescue one of their own, they discover that nothing is as they expect. The players will have to brave parts unknown and unexplored, from the arid deserts to the snowy mountains, in order to escape the world’s most dangerous game.

Jumanji: The Next Level hits theaters everywhere starting December 13th, 2019. Watch the trailer and let us know what you think!
