THE FLASH: Captain Cold Trailer, First Look at the Reverse Flash, the Premiere's Shocking Final Scene
The Flash premiered on the CW last night. After seeing the pilot in July, I'm so glad I can finally watch more episodes. Created by the same creative team behind Arrow, The Flash is a spin-off series. I love both shows, but enjoy the lighter and more hopeful tone of The Flash.
The CW has released two new trailers and one of them features Captain Cold, played by Wentworth Miller. We also have two images of Captain Cold via the Instagram account of Geoff Johns.
SPOILER WARNING — If you haven't seen the premiere don't scroll down.
At the end of last night's premiere we saw Harrison Wells stand up from his wheelchair and look at a newspaper from ten years in the future. EW was able to interview executive producer Andrew Kreisberg and ask what that's all about.
"Time travel is going to play a big part in the overall series, but one of the things that we will discover is that time is mutable. As the good Doctor says, time can be rewritten, so not everything you see on the show is necessarily what’s going to come to pass and not necessarily everything that’s happened is fixed. There’s obviously more than meets the eye when you see Harrison Wells."
There are numerous theories on who Harrison Wells really is. He's Barry Allen from the future, he's Reverse-Flash, or he's Allen's long lost brother. Odds are it's going to take a least a season to find out, if not more.
