The Flash is Back in New Extended Trailer For THE FLASH Season 4 and a First look at The Hero's New Suit

The CW has released an extended trailer for The Flash Season 4 which offers some cool and exciting new footage for fans of the series to enjoy.

The first episode of Season 4 is called "The Flash Reborn" and it's set six months after the end of Season 3 in which Barry Allen disappeared. He's been stranded in the Speed Force during that time. In the trailer, we see Barry Allen's friends struggle with the choice to bring him back, which as you'll see, they eventually decide to do. Obviously, things are a little off.

Series star Grant Gustin, had this to say about his character in an interview with CB:

"He’s going to have kind of an awakening when he comes out. He’s going to have some knowledge that he probably doesn’t even quite understand yet. He’ll also be little scrambled; He won’t really be himself the first time we see him."

That's not a surprise, but slowly and surely he will get back to normal... maybe. Guston goes on to explain what it was like for Barry to be trapped in the Speed Force and why he doesn't come back the same.

“We’re not necessarily going to see Barry’s experience in the Speed Force. We’ll see kind of the effects that the Speed Force has had on Barry, and he’s been in there six months real-time. I suspect the Speed Force is kind of nonlinear with time, so Barry has experienced his entire life from start to end infinity times over since he’s been in there.”

I imagine that experience would definitely change a person! I also included an image below the trailer giving us our first look at The Flash's new costume! I'm excited about The Flash Season 4! Are you?

The Flash also stars Candice Patton as Iris West, Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow, Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramo, Tom Cavanagh as Dr. Harrison Wells, Jesse L. Martin as Detective Joe West, Keiynan Lonsdale as Wally West, John Wesley Shipp, Katee Sackhoff as the villain Amunet Black and Hartley Sawyer as Ralph Dibny, aka Elongated Man.

The Flash will return to the CW on Tuesday, October 10th at 8 PM ET.
