THE FLASH Videos Introduce New Character, Develop Old Characters

Do you guys love The Flash? I love The Flash. I have been waiting since Comic-Con to tell you how much I love The Flash. I have brooding emo superhero fatigue, and The Flash is such a breath of fresh air. I’m not saying there isn’t a place on the superhero shelf for The Dark Knight, because obviously there is. The Dark Knight is the greatest. But lately tortured seems to be the default for superhero movies, and The Flash is so optimistic. It just makes me happy to watch it. End rant.

The Flash airs on Tuesday nights, so a new episode is almost here, but to bring a little joy to your life before then, you can check out these swell videos. The first features the introduction of Ronnie Raymond, Caitlin Snow’s fiancé who died in the thunderstorm that supercharged Barry. Although this scene is a flashback, I have the feeling Ronnie might not be as dead as Caitlin thinks. If you think Ronnie looks kinda like the Arrow in a bad disguise, that’s because he is played by Robbie Amell, Stephen Amell’s cousin.

The rest of the videos are interviews with supporting actors on The Flash — Tom Cavanagh, Jesse L. Martin, and Carlos Valdes. Valdes talks about funky flavor, and it is hilarious for reasons that reason cannot know.
