The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse Are Summoned in Fantastic New Trailer for GOOD OMENS
Amazon has released a new full trailer for their great-looking new series adaptation of Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett’s Good Omens. In the story an angel and demon team up to save the world. It’s the last great battle between heaven and hell.
This latest trailer offers a lot of incredibly fun new footage including the four horseman of the apocalypse and the Devil himself. While the series looks like it deals with some intense subject matter, it looks like it’s going to be quite charming.
The six-part series stars Michael Sheen as the angel Aziraphale and David Tennant as the demon Crowley, and they are perfect in the roles that they play! When talking about the series with EW, Tennant said:
“It’s a massive, epic, sweeping show. I can’t wait to see the finished product. It’s quite hard to imagine at the moment. They’ve got months of post-production. It’s going to be one of the joys of it, seeing how it all comes together.”
He went on to talk about his character in the story, saying::
“[Crowley is] a demon, who’s been stationed on earth since the Garden of Eden, who ends up teaming up with his opposite number, Aziraphale, played by Michael Sheen, to avert the oncoming apocalypse. They decide that actually, they quite like their life on earth as it is, and humanity being wiped out would mean they’d have to go back and live in heaven and hell, which is not a prospect that particularly cheers them. So they set out to undermine the coming of the Antichrist.”
Here’s the synopsis:
This series follows the story of Aziraphale, an angel, and Crowley, a demon, who have formed an unlikely friendship spanning 6,000 years and have grown fond of life on earth.
