The Free Update for SUPER MARIO MAKER 2 Adds Great New Features Like Playing with Your Friends

Fans of Super Mario Maker 2 rejoice! The Version 1.1.0 update has released and it has finally added the function to be able to play the game with your friends. You can select people from your friends list in both versus and co-op modes, so you aren’t limited to playing with random people. This is a great added feature, but it’s not all that the update offers.

In addition to being able to play with friends, you’ll be able to find a list of Official Makers in the Leaderboards section. This will let you see new courses by these makers as well as special courses made for collaborations and special events.

The final update to note is the new ability to use both buttons and touch-screen controls when creating courses in Handheld mode. This is fantastic! Are you excited about the new update for Super Mario Maker 2 on Nintendo Switch?
