THE FRESH PRINCE OF BEL-AIR Reimagined as a Gritty Drama Called BEL-AIR

Will Smith’s The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air is a beloved 90s series that that audiences loved. The popular good-natured sitcom followed a boy named Will whose mom sends him away from his rough Philadelphia neighborhood to live with wealthy Uncle Phil and Aunt Vivian in Bel-Air.

Well, director Morgan Cooper has taken this concept and reimagined it as something that is more grounded and gritty. He calls it Bel-Air, and you can watch the trailer that he shot for it below.

This actually looks like it could be a good movie! I don’t know if fans would want to see a grittier version of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, but regardless, this trailer is certainly worth checking out.
