The Future of Live-Action Miles Morales Spider-Man Movie Is Teased by SPIDER-MAN: ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE Producer

Fans have been wondering when we would see a live-action Miles Morales Spider-Man movie for years now. The animated movies have been a huge hit with fans, and we would love to see the character on the big screen. So at the recent Oscars luncheon, Spider-Man producer Amy Pascal was asked about the future of the character in live-action, and she responded, saying:

"Someday. Not until we make two more movies. Someday. Someday. We're very happy doing [the animated Spider-Verse movies]."

Some fans thought that meant we wouldn’t see Miles Morales in a live-action movie until we saw two more Tom Holland Spider-Man Marvel movies, and that feels very far off, as the next movie starring the hero is very early in pre-production, and no story details or future release date has been inked at the studio.

But Spider-Verse producer Christopher Miller clarified the comments in a social media post, in which he added:

"To clarify, when she said 'not until we make two more movies,' she meant Beyond the Spider-Verse and the live-action Tom Holland film."

So these are two movies that are in the works, and this means we could hear about a live-action Miles Morales Spider-Man project in the next year or two. We know Holland isn’t going to play Spider-Man forever, so this feels like a great way to pass the baton.
