The Game Awards Return In Person And Announce New Category

The Game Awards are returning live on December 8 from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, CA. Fans will be able to enjoy the stream of the awards show on digital platforms including YouTube, Twitch, Twitter, Facebook, and TikTok Live.

And a new category has been announced for the show, Best Adaptation. Finally, there will be recognition of other media adaptations of video games including but not limited to theatrical movies, streaming shows, podcasts, novels, and comic books. I think this will be a great category to add since we have had some really fun movies and shows based on video games released in recent years.
