The Ghouls Are Back in Trailer For Nickelodeon's MONSTER HIGH 2
Paramount+ has released the first trailer for Nickelodeon’s Monster High 2, and it teases the new musical adventure that awaits the high school ghouls. The first Monster High movie was a pretty huge hit for the streaming service as it’s something that the kids enjoy and those who grew up with Monster High dolls, like my own kids.
Monster High 2 follows “Clawdeen Wolf (Miia Harris), Draculaura (Nayah Damasen) and Frankie Stein (Ceci Balagot) as they enter sophomore year at Monster High. The power of three is put to the test as they face even bigger challenges this year-new students, new powers, evolving friendships, and an even bigger threat that could not only tear their friendship apart, but could change the world forever. The movie will also introduce new character Toralei (Salena Qureshi), a feisty British were-cat, back after a year abroad in Scaris, France.”
Zack Olin and Shauna Phelan, Co-Heads of Nickelodeon & Awesomeness Live-Action, said in a statement: "We are ecstatic to tell the monstrous next chapter of this beloved franchise to our audience," "Monster High's message of embracing one's unique self is as important as ever and we look forward to expanding the stories of these fan-favorite characters."
Based on the popular Mattel toy franchise about the children of famous monsters and creatures, Monster High and Monster High 2 come from Nickelodeon and Mattel Television. The property was created by Garrett Sander, Kellee Riley and Glen Hanson, the Monster High toy line was launched by Mattel in 2010, and various animated projects have been released over the years.
Monster High 2 is set to premiere on Paramount+ on Thursday, October 5, 2023.
