THE GOLDBERGS Season 7 Premiere Pays Tribute to NATIONAL LAMPOON'S VACATION with Christie Brinkley and Anthony Michael Hall
I’ve got some super exciting news for all you fans of The Goldbergs! The Season 7 premiere will pay tribute to the classic 1983 comedy National Lampoon’s Vacation, and it will include both Christie Brinkley and Anthony Michael Hall! There’s no word on who exactly they will be playing in their guest star roles, but I can’t wait to find out!
The episode is titled “Vacation,” and in it “Beverly (Wendi McClendon-Covey) insists the family take a road trip to go on vacation to Disneyland in Anaheim, California, before Erica (Hayley Orrantia) and Barry (Troy Gentile) go off to college. But, like the film, things do not go as planned as they travel across the country. Meanwhile, Erica worries more and more about her relationship with Geoff (Sam Lerner) when he teases “we need to talk” and won’t tell her anything until the family returns from their adventure.”
Sounds like it’ll be a fun episode! National Lampoon’s Vacation is a favorite comedy of mine, and I was wondering if The Goldbergs would ever tackle it. Well, it’s happening, and I couldn’t be happier!
“Vacation” will premiere on September 25th on ABC.
