The HARRY POTTER Films Are Coming To IMAX Theaters For One Week Only
With Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them coming up quickly, Warner Bros. is inviting fans to revisit the adventures that started it all on the biggest screen possible. The studio announced today that all eight of the original Harry Potter films will be playing in IMAX theaters for one week only later this month, beginning on October 13, 2016. There's a global fan event that day, where fans will be treated to a never-before-seen reel from Fantastic Beasts, and if you're at two specific IMAX theaters in London or Los Angeles, members of the cast are scheduled to show up in person.
As for the Potter movies, those films will all screen in IMAX 2D and feature "additional content" from Fantastic Beasts, including the aforementioned reel and a pre-recorded greeting from Eddie Redmayne. This will also be the first time that The Sorcerer's Stone and The Chamber of Secrets will ever play in IMAX theaters.
Tickets will be available in a variety of forms, including:
- Single Ticket
- Day Access (admittance to three or more shows in a single day)
- Four-Show Access (admittance to four shows any time, any day)
- Festival Access (unlimited admittance throughout the event).
