The Hidden Meaning in Terry Gilliam's BRAZIL
Wisecrack is back with a new episode of Earthling Cinema, and this one focuses on Terry Gilliam's bureaucratic nightmare film Brazil. It analyzes the hidden meaning in the movie, and, among other things, I thought their observation about empathy being a form of subversion was on point. It's been years since I've seen this film, and it's probably about time to give it another shot.
