The History of the DeLorean: A Video Essay

Here’s a super interesting video all about the weird history of the car made famous by the Back To The Future films, the DeLorean. The car was named after its creator, John Z. DeLorean, who was the youngest division head of GM in its history and the creator of the Pontiac GTO, Pontiac Firebird, Pontiac Grand Prix, Chevy Cosworth Vega, and eventually, the DeLorean sports car. Its history is actually pretty crazy and exciting, and includes a drug-smuggling bust, movie-stardom, and a cult following.
