At this year’s C2E2 Marvel Comics made some announcements. One of the ones that has caught the most attention is a new six-issue comic series called The History of the Marvel Universe.

Mark Waid is set to write the series with Alvaro Lopez and Javier Rodriguez illustrating it. Steve McNiven will be doing the cover art for all six issues.

The goal of THMU is to provide a very condensed retelling of everything that has happened in the Marvel Universe. That is quite the epic project. The series is set to be released later this year.

This seems like an ambitious project, do you think it can really be done in only six issues?
