The Horrifying Trailer For Stephen King's PET SEMATARY Has Arrived
In my opinion, Pet Sematary is Stephen King’s most terrifying story. Both the book and the 1989 film scared the living shit out of me. That original film gave me nightmares for months!
Well, I know a lot of you have been looking forward to seeing the trailer for the latest adaptation of the novel and now it’s here to give you your daily dose of horrific terror. The remake actually looks great! I love what I’m seeing in this first trailer and it’s going to deliver audiences some much needed nightmare fuel. Only time will tell if the movie actually turns out to be as good and scary as the original film. I love the vibe that the trailer gives off, though!
The movie was directed by Dennis Widmyer and Kevin Kölsch and it stars Jason Clarke as Dr. Louis Creed, John Lithgow as Jud Crandall and Amy Seimetz as Rachel. They all look like they’re going to be great in their roles!
Based on the seminal horror novel by Stephen King, Pet Sematary follows Dr. Louis Creed (Jason Clarke), who, after relocating with his wife Rachel (Amy Seimetz) and their two young children from Boston to rural Maine, discovers a mysterious burial ground hidden deep in the woods near the family’s new home. When tragedy strikes, Louis turns to his unusual neighbor, Jud Crandall (John Lithgow), setting off a perilous chain reaction that unleashes an unfathomable evil with horrific consequences.
Pet Sematary is set to be released in theaters on April 19, 2019. Watch the trailer and tell us what you think!
