The Hulu Original Comedy Series RAMY Gets Renewed for Season 3
Ramy is a Hulu Original comedy series from the mind of Ramy Youssef alongside Ari Katcher and Ryan Welch that released its second season a little over a month ago. Well, people must be liking it as Hulu has renewed the series for a third 10-episode season. The series stars Youssef as well as Hiam Abbass, Mohammed Amer, May Calamawy, Dave Merheje, Laith Nakli, Amr Waked, and Steve Way. Mahershala Ali was also featured in the second season.
The series follows first-generation, Egyptian-American Ramy Hassan (Youssef) who is on a spiritual journey in his politically-divided New Jersey neighborhood. Ramy brings a new perspective to the screen as it explores the challenges of what it’s like to be caught between a religious community who believes life is a moral test, and a millennial generation that doubts an afterlife even exists. In the second season, Ramy delves further into his spiritual journey, finding a new Muslim community and embracing a deeper commitment to his faith.
There’s no word on when the third season will become available (makes sense considering the current state of affairs), but you can watch the first two seasons of Ramy now on Hulu.
