THE HUNGER GAMES: MOCKINGJAY Part 2 - Teaser Motion Poster
Lionsgate has released a teaser and motion poster for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2. It's exactly what you would expect the teaser and motion posters to be for the film. They've already done this a few times before by lighting the logo on fire.
This is the final chapter in the story. That is, until the studio tries to turn the franchise into more films. In this movie, Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) now fully realizes the stakes are no longer just for survival, they are for the future.
With the nation of Panem in a full scale war, Katniss confronts President Snow (Donald Sutherland) in the final showdown. Teamed with a group of her closest friends – including Gale (Liam Hemsworth), Finnick (Sam Claflin), and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) – Katniss goes off on a mission with the unit from District 13 as they risk their lives to stage an assassination attempt on President Snow who has become increasingly obsessed with destroying her. The mortal traps, enemies, and moral choices that await Katniss will challenge her more than any arena she faced in The Hunger Games.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 was directed by Francis Lawrence from a screenplay by Peter Craig and Danny Strong. The cast also includes Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Jeffrey Wright, Willow Shields, Jena Malone, Stanley Tucci, Julianne Moore, Mahershala Ali, Natalie Dormer, Wes Chatham, Elden Henson, and Evan Ross.
The film will be released in theaters on November 20th, 2015.
