THE HUNT Director Craig Zobel Set to Helm a New Sci-Fi Thriller

The director of The Hunt, Craig Zobel, is set to helm an untitled film for New Line Cinema. The project is described as a “modern sci-fi thriller,” and the original script was written by Evan Spiliotopoulos (Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins, Beauty & the Beast) with a most recent draft written by Andrea Berloff (Straight Outta Compton).

Beau Flynn of FlynnPictureCo is producing the film, and he most recently produced the Netflix film Red Notice, starring Dwayne Johnson, Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot, as well as Disney’s Jungle Cruise.

Zobel most recently directed episodes and served as an executive producer on the upcoming HBO limited series Mare Of Easttown, starring Kate Winslet.

We don’t have any details to share on the story, but I did enjoy what Zobel did with The Hunt, which was released early this year. Hopefully, this next film of his turns out to be good!
