THE HUNTSMAN Adds Rob Brydon and Two Others As Dwarves

I was fully prepared to completely ignore The Huntsman, Universal's upcoming prequel to Snow White and the Huntsman starring Chris Hemsworth, but then they went and cast awesome people like Emily Blunt and Jessica Chastain, and now I feel like I have to pay attention to it again. The casting continues, as THR reports that Rob Brydon, Alexandra Roach, and Sheridan Smith will play dwarves (or is it dwarfs? I never know) in the film alongside Nick Frost, who is reprising his role as Nion.

Brydon can be seen in Cinderella (in theaters now), but is perhaps most recognizable from The Trip and The Trip to Italy, in which he and Steve Coogan travel around eating food and making each other laugh with their impressions and comedy bits. I've only seen Brydon in those films, and I like him quite a bit, so I'm interested to see what he does with a potentially absurd supporting role here. I haven't heard of either of the two actresses, but Smith (above left) has appeared in tons of British TV shows and Roach (above right) was in The Iron Lady, Anna Karenina, and shared the screen with her co-star Nick Frost in the dancing comedy Cuban Fury.

Cedric Nicolas-Troyan, the visual effects supervisor of the first movie, replaced Frank Darabont as director and will make his directorial debut with this film, which already has an April 22nd, 2016 release date. Excited about this one?
