The INDIANA JONES Films Have Returned to Disney+
I’ve always considered the original Indiana Jones movies some of the greatest adventure films ever made. These movies have an undeniable charm that keeps me coming back time and time again.
So, I’m happy to let you know that Indiana Jones is back on Disney+! If you’re like me, you probably noticed the absence of Indy’s adventures from Disney+ last year. I
In 2024, all four classic films were removed from the streaming service due to a licensing dispute. While Disney owns the franchise through its acquisition of Lucasfilm, Paramount has long held the distribution rights for the first four movies.
But the two companies have obviously worked some things out, or at least have made a temporary agreement, because the classics are back. Unfortunately, this is currently a U.S. only treat. International viewers are going to have to wait.
It’s worth noting that this might not be a permanent addition to the Disney+ library. Since Disney still doesn’t hold exclusive streaming rights, there’s always the possibility the movies could disappear again when this new deal expires.
For now, the lineup includes:
Raiders of the Lost Ark
Temple of Doom
The Last Crusade
Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny
Having the chance to revisit these films is something I’ll never get tired of. So grab your fedora, whip, and some popcorn, and watch some Indiana Jones movies!
