The Joker Gets Away in Christmas T-Shirt Art by Matt Ferguson
We will never forget the tragic events of November 13, 1992, when, after not being able to shower, Batman smelled, his sidekick Robin laid an egg, the Batmobile lost a wheel, and the Joker got away. What people often don’t even mention is that after crashing through the roof in a one horse open tree, the Joker busted out and went laughing all the weeeeeeeeee! It was salt on the wound. It was unnecessary. It was un-American.
Matt Ferguson depicts this tragedy, a.k.a. the Batman: The Animated Series episode “Christmas with The Joker,” in this piece of holiday art we found over on Xombiedirge. I've included a clip of these events below, as a reminder and as a tribute to those brave, brave Gothamites. If you, too, would like to pay your respects, you can purchase the design on a T-shirt at TeeFury.
