The JUSTICE LEAGUE Reshoots Being Done with Joss Whedon Are Said to Be Extensive
It looks like we may see Joss Whedon has his work cut out for him with Justice League. Before Zack Snyder stepped away from the project, Whedon was already helping write and plan out the reshoots that needed to be done. Now Whedon is directing those reshoots and apparently there's a lot of work that needs to be done.
According to Batman-On-Film, the reshoots that need to be done are extensive. There are so many things that need to be reshot that shooting will take place over the course of the summer. The report says:
"I have been told by a 100% vetted and more-than-reliable source that re-shoots on JUSTICE LEAGUE have commenced in London under the helm of Joss Whedon and that they will be 'significant.' So much so, that these reshoots are expected to take place through June and July, and maybe into August. They are NOT your 'standard" pick-ups.'"
Some people see reshoots like this as a bad thing, others see it as a good thing. I just hope that the end result gives fans a great film! A film that's at least just as good as Wonder Woman turned out or better!
Whedon is one hell of a talented director and I think he'll end up bringing some great elements to Justice League. After seeing how Wonder Woman turned out, I'm excited to see how the rest of the films in the DCEU turn out. All that matters to me is that they get the best cinematic treatment possible.
What are your thoughts about all this?
