The Knights of Ren Are Getting a Backstory Due to a New STAR WARS Limited Series Comic
For those of you who have been wanting to see a backstory for The Knights of Ren, it’s coming! There’s a new limited Star Wars comic book series coming called Star Wars: The Rise of Kylo Ren, and the announcement came during Comic-Con by writer Charles Soule who is working on the series. Here’s what he siad:

This is something I wish would have been explored in a Star Wars film or series, but I guess a comic book will have to do. It’s not ideal, but at least fans will have the opportunity to learn the backstory of what happened with Kylo and The Knights of Ren.
These characters have been shrouded in mystery since they were first introduced in The Force Awakens, and we know they’ll be played with in The Rise of Skywalker, but I doubt that movie is going to really dive into the history of them like this comic will.
It’ll be great to finally get some actually information on these characters and their backstory with Kylo and how he ended up becoming their leader. The comic series will be released just before The Rise of Skywalker is released, so fans will be able to go into the movie with a little bit more knowledge about these characters.
