THE LAST JEDI Star Kelly Marie Tran Joins Elizabeth Olsen’s Facebook Dramedy SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS
We first found out information about Elizabeth Olsen’s Facebook dramedy a couple weeks ago. We now have two pieces of news for you. First, the show has a name now. It will be called Sorry for Your Loss. Second, Kelly Marie Tran, who had a breakout as Rose in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, has been given a leading role. Variety tells us:
“Tran will star as Jules, Leigh’s younger sister. The character is described as the most fun girl at a party, and the hardest to live with. In the face of her brother-in-law’s death, Jules is not only fighting day-by-day to maintain her sobriety, but also struggling to evolve out of the role of the well-meaning disaster in her family.”
Sorry for Your Loss was created by Kit Steinkellner and will be executive produced by Steinkellner and Olsen.
