THE LAST OF US Adds Jorge Lendeborg Jr. as Manny and Brings Clea DuVall into Season 3

The Last of Us has locked in a new face for Manny as Season 3 continues to take shape, and it’s a casting move that fits right into the show’s intense, character-driven world.

Jorge Lendeborg Jr. has officially joined the HBO drama, stepping into the role previously held by Danny Ramirez. The change came down to scheduling conflicts, clearing the way for Lendeborg Jr., who fans will recognize from Spider-Man: No Way Home, to bring his own energy to the character.

Manny plays a key part in the evolving story. Season 3 is also adding Clea DuVall, who has signed on to play a Seraphite, a member of the unsettling cult that has become one of the most dangerous forces in the Last of Us universe.

DuVall’s filmography, which includes Argo and But I’m a Cheerleader, makes her a fascinating choice for a role that’s mysterious and threatening.

Based on the popular post-apocalyptic video games, The Last of Us continues to expand its brutal, emotional story. The series was co-created by Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann, who also co-created the games.

While both guided the first two seasons together, Mazin will take the reins solo for Season 3 following Druckmann’s departure.

The upcoming season remains anchored by Bella Ramsey as Ellie and Kaitlyn Dever as Abby. They’re joined by a strong returning ensemble that includes Isabela Merced as Dina, Gabriel Luna as Tommy, Young Mazino as Jesse, Tati Gabrielle as Nora, Ariela Barer as Mel, Spencer Lord as Owen, and Jeffrey Wright as Isaac.

The series is co-produced by HBO and Sony Pictures Television.
