THE LAST OF US Episode 4 Trailer Teases Joel and Ellie’s Crazy Road Trip
HBO has released a trailer for The Last of Us episode four, which is titled “Please Hold My Hand.” After the last episode, which told the story of Nick Offerman’s Bill and Murray Bartlett’s Frank, the series will once again turn the focus to Joel (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie’s (Bella Ramsey) long and dangerous journey.
The video offers a tease of Joel and Ellie’s road trip, and as you might expect, things aren’t going to be easy for them in this post-apocalyptic world. The promo also teases the introduction of Melanie Lynskey’s character, Kathleen.
This new episode was directed by Jeremy Webb from a screenplay written by series creator Craig Mazin. The next episode will premiere this Sunday, February 5th.
The Last of Us takes place 20 years after modern civilization has been destroyed by a deadly virus. Joel (Pedro Pascal), a hardened survivor, is hired to smuggle Ellie (Bella Ramsey), a 14-year-old girl, out of an oppressive quarantine zone to the Fireflies, a cure-searching organization. What starts as a small job soon becomes a brutal, heartbreaking journey, as they both must traverse across the U.S. and depend on each other for survival.
In addition to Pascal and Ramsey, the first season also stars Gabriel Luna, Anna Torv, Nico Parker, Murray Bartlett, Nick Offerman, Melanie Lynskey, Storm Reid, Merle Dandridge, Jeffrey Pierce, Lamar Johnson, Keivonn Woodard, Graham Greene, Elaine Miles, Ashley Johnson and Troy Baker.
