The Latest CAPTAIN MARVEL Photo Includes an Inadvertent Easter Egg That's Not Very Disney Friendly
In an effort to get people to get out and vote this week, Brie Larson shared a new photo from Captain Marvel with the lead character standing at a phone booth surrounded by a bunch of “Rock The Vote” posters.
Well, there’s a little Easter egg in this photo that was found by fans who were looking for any kinds of clues to the movie. It’s the kind of Easter eggs that leads to something that’s not Disney friendly at all.
There’s a phone number placed above the receiver in the phone booth that Carol Danvers is standing in. This phone number was previously used on a Disney show called The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. ABC owned telephone number and if people called it they would get a recorded message saying, "Thank you for calling ABC. The number you have reached is a fictional, non-working number used for motion picture and television productions."
Well, ABC no longer owns that number. The number now belongs to an adult phone line! If you call that number now, this is the message you’ll get, "Welcome to America’s hottest talk line. Guys, hot ladies are waiting to talk to you, press one now. Ladies, to talk to interesting and exciting guys free, press two to connect free now."
Someone obviously didn’t check the phone number before including it on the phone in the film. Or maybe they did and didn’t think anyone would notice! I thought this was pretty amusing and I’m sure some of you will get a kick out of it.
