The Latest WORLD OF WARSHIPS Update Brings New British Heavy Cruisers and More
The Royal Navy has expanded in World of Warships. A recent update brought some new British heavy cruisers to the game as part of the British Cruisers event. The new cruisers span Tiers V-VIII and can be bought with British Tokens, a temporary resource, via random bundles. The ships (in ascending order of Tier) are the Hawkins, Devonshire, Surrey, and Albemarle and they each come equipped with the Victorian White permanent camouflage. Their firepower is best at medium ranges and strong armor distribution makes them a force to be reckoned with, especially when paired with their effective Repair party.
In addition to the new British Cruisers event, the latest update also brings a Lunar New Year celebration. The new theme comes from Journey to the west and three new Pan-Asian ships will be debuting.
The final note for update 0.9.0 is that the following ships have been upgraded to premium status: ARP Kongo, ARP Kirishima, ARP Haruna, ARP Hiei, ARP Myoko, ARP Nachi, ARP Ashigara, ARP Haguro and ARP Takao, Southern Dragon, and Eastern Dragon.
