The Legendary Biblical Story of SAMSON Comes To Life in a New Film and Here's The Trailer
I've actually always liked the story of Samson in the bible. It kind of had a comic book type feel to it as it dealt with a super-powered human with super strength. As a kid, who was into comic books, I loved that kind of stuff! The dude killed over a thousand men with the jawbone of an ass!
Well, for those of you who went to Sunday School, you might be interested in watching this trailer for a new film that tells the story of Samson. For those of you who aren't familiar with the story, here's a brief synopsis:
Samson, empowered by God with supernatural strength, endangers his destiny with impulsive decisions that lead to betrayal by a wicked prince and a beautiful temptress. When Samson calls on his God once more, he turns imprisonment and blindness into final victory.
Samson’s journey of passion, betrayal, and redemption inspires audiences to realize that life’s failures need not define their future.
The action-packed biblical epic actually doesn't look as bad as I thought it might. Samson could actually turn out to be a decent film and it even has a good cast that includes Billy Zane, Rutger Hauer, and Jackson Rathbone.
The movie comes from the creators of God's Not Dead and it's set to be released on February 16th, 2018. Check out the trailer and tell us what you think!
