THE LORD OF THE RINGS: THE RINGS OF POWER Season 3 Wraps Filming and Celebrates with a Behind-the-Scenes Video
Middle-earth is stirring again. Filming has officially wrapped on The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Season 3, bringing fans one step closer to diving back into the sweeping Second Age saga.
To mark the occasion, the cast dropped a playful behind-the-scenes video on social media that features new and familiar faces celebrating the end of production.
The video highlights Jamie Campbell Bower joining the ensemble, sharing screen time with returning stars like Morfydd Clark and Charlie Vickers. It is a quick but energetic reminder that the series is gearing up for its next major chapter and that Season 3 is shaping up with some fresh surprises.
Plot details are still under wraps. Season 2 left Middle-earth in a dire place after the Siege of Eregion shattered the Elves defenses and forced them to retreat.
Sauron embraced his true form, discarded the Annatar disguise and claimed the rings of power following a tense confrontation with Galadriel. With the Dark Lord rising and the Elves scattered, the road ahead looks grim for the peoples of Middle-earth.
One of the biggest mysteries right now is who Campbell Bower will portray. The actor who can currently be seen menacing Hawkins as Vecna in Stranger Things Season 5 has been confirmed as a series regular, but the production is keeping his character tightly secret.
Tolkien fans also have more than one project to anticipate. A new film titled The Hunt for Gollum is on the way with Andy Serkis returning to the role of Gollum and he is also directing.
There is no release date yet for The Rings of Power Season 3 but The Hunt for Gollum is set to arrive on December 17 2027.
