THE MALADY CHRONICLES is a Nine Adventure Campaign Focused on Disesases

The Malady Chronicles are nine adventures that can be used individually or together as a campaign in your Dungeons & Dragons with the theme of disease. I don’t want to say too much about the story, but the big bad is named Ucul’thu and is totally not Cthulhu. Diseases play a central role in these adventures in slightly different ways depending on if you use this as a campaign or sidequests/one shots. Looking through this, I think I’d rather run it as a campaign, but I’m loving what I’m seeing. What’s even better is that you can play The Malady Chronicles in any setting of your choosing.

Deep in each civilization’s roots, there are myths, remedies, and folklore, all revolving around the ailments that affect its people. When each Dungeon Master wants to expand on the details of the societies that unfold before their very eyes, tools that spice up the process become a vital weapon. This supplement will hopefully become one of them, as DMs become inspired by the grim, epic or mundane conditions of the human body and mind.

Do not underestimate diseases. Part of the Dungeon Master’s art is to be able to stir feelings up in their players, and few human conditions could accomplish that better.

The Malady Chronicles was written by Tal Aviezer, Jason Bakos, Clan Crafter Hralding, Dylan Hyatt, Chad M. Lensch, GM Lent, Richard Malena-Webber, C M O’halloran, Thermis Paraskevas, John D. Parker, and Blaise Wigglesworth. Each adventure in the campaign is written by a different author which may cause some awkwardness as you play through, but they did go through and really work on making the differences not be a problem.

You can purchase a digital copy for $14.95 or a physical copy of The Malady Chronicles for $44.95 over on DMs Guild.
