THE MAN WITH THE BAG Trailer Sees Arnold Schwarzenegger and Alan Ritchson Team Up for a Wild Christmas Heist

Arnold Schwarzenegger is trading his Christmas shopping nightmares for a Santa suit, and this time he’s teaming up with Alan Ritchson to save the holidays. Amazon MGM Studios has released the first trailer for The Man With The Bag, an action-packed Christmas heist comedy that puts an unexpected pair in charge of saving Christmas.

Nearly 30 years after Schwarzenegger played a desperate dad hunting down a sold-out Turbo Man action figure in Jingle All the Way, the action legend is returning to holiday movies with a much bigger role. This time, he’s playing Santa Claus himself, and old Saint Nick has a serious problem on his hands.

When a naughty elf steals Santa’s magical bag, Christmas is suddenly in jeopardy. Getting it back requires some criminal expertise, so Santa recruits Vance, a skilled thief played by Reacher star Alan Ritchson.

Vance isn't going into this job alone. With his daughter, Santa, and a crew of misfits joining the operation, he has to pull off the biggest heist of his career to make sure Christmas goes ahead as planned.

Schwarzenegger playing Santa is already fun to see, but pairing him with Ritchson for a holiday heist movie makes this even more entertaining. It's a pretty great combination of action-star muscle and Christmas madness, especially with Santa turning to a professional thief to recover his stolen goods.

The supporting cast includes Berkeley James, Michael Cyril Creighton, Liza Koshy, Kyle Mooney, Jane Krakowski, Ken Jeong, and Awkwafina.

Adam Shankman directs the film from a screenplay written by Allan Rice. The Man With The Bag arrives on Prime Video on December 2. Check out the trailer and see what you think!
