THE MANDALORIAN's Pedro Pascal Wants To Join The Marvel Cinematic Universe; Who Could He Play?
Pedro Pascal has enjoyed being a part of some pretty big properties over the years with the Live-Action Star Wars series The Mandalorian, DC’s Wonder Woman, and the upcoming series adaptation of The Last of Us. Now the actor wants a piece of the Marvel Cinematic Universe!
The actor recently sat down for a chat with Wired and when talking about his journey, said: "Looking back, so much of it only seems to present itself as an opportunity. When my parents ended up on a list of pardoned exiles and were able to go back to Chile, it came with enormous families on both sides, which was missing from the experience of growing up in the States. I guess it's only in middle age where it feels like it can be emotionally challenging to accept that there isn't anywhere to plant my flag as an individual. Everywhere is home and nowhere is home. But that also still feels like a good thing to me. It's often framed as a disadvantage in our culture, but it's an advantage in character, and in perspective, and in outlook."
The actor was then asked about starring in a Marvel movie, and he responded: "But I do want that. I want to be in movies." The guy just loves being an actor, he just wants to be in the movies and it makes sense that he’d want to play in the Marvel sandbox.
