The Marvel Character Hulkling is Reportedly Coming To WANDAVISION Along with a Connection to S.W.O.R.D.

It looks like a new Marvel character might end up making their debut in the Disney+ series, WandaVision. This is a Young Avenger character named Hulkling, a.k.a. Teddy Altman. This would make the second Young Avengers character to be introduced in the MCU, the first character being Cassie Lang.

GWW broke the story that Hulking was currently being cast for an unspecified Marvel show, and The Illuminerdi came in to “confirm” that WandaVision is the series he’ll be showing up in. If you’re familiar with the comics, you know that Hulkling is a Kree-Skrull hybrid.

The report goes on to say Hulkling will have a direct connection to S.W.O.R.D., which was first teased at the very end of Spider-Man: Far From Home with Nick Fury on a ship in space. S.W.O.R.D. is an acronym for Sentient World Observation and Response Department, and it’s a counter-terrorism and intelligence agency that deals with extraterrestrial threats to world security.

Marvel Studios is currently casting the role of Hulkling, and this is the description that came along with the casting call: “teenager or young adult male to play Teddy (age 16 – 23)…  a Skrull who requires help from S.W.O.R.D. in order to remain safely on Earth.”

While several different sources have been revealing info about this, we will still treat it as a rumor until Marvel confirms it. But, what do you all think of the possibility of Hulkling showing up in WandaVision?
