The MEAN GIRLS Musical Is Making Its Broadway Debut

Mean Girls the musical is headed to Broadway. The official opening of the musical, which was co-written by Tina Fey, is expected to open April 8th, although March 12th the musical will hold preview performances.

The news is no surprise considering the success of the film and its pop culture relevance even today. Those who won't be able to fly into NYC for the premiere may get a chance to see it before then as the musical is planning a pre-Broadway run beginning October 31st in Washington DC.

I've never seen a musical version of a film, are they worth attending? Thanks to Variety for the heads up.
