Peacock announced that they have found a series lead for their upcoming crime drama, The Missing. Jeff Wilbusch will be taking on the role of detective Avraham Avraham from the NYPD 77th precinct whose unwavering belief in mankind is his superpower when solving crimes.

Based on The Missing File book series by Dror A. Mishani, the show will follow Detective Avraham as he questions his own humanity when a routine investigation is turned upside down. The books have won multiple international awards, so with such great source material the show has to work with it has a lot of potential.
