THE MORNING SHOW Gets a Season 3 Renewal and a New Showrunner at Apple TV+

Apple TV+ has announced that they have renewed the hit series The Morning Show for its third season, and a new showrunner has been hired to come aboard. Charlotte Stoudt, who has previously worked on Fosse/VerdonHomeland and House of Cards, will take over as showrunner starting with Season 3.

Stoudt will take over for Kerry Ehrin, who developed The Morning Show and who served as showrunner on the first and second seasons. Ehrin will serve as a consultant on the third season while continuing to develop new series for Apple TV+ under her previously announced overall deal.

Stoudt marks The Morning Show‘s third showrunner in as many seasons. Ehrin replaced original showrunner Jay Carson as part of the show’s Season 1 overhaul to include the #MeToo movement.

The show stars Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon, Billy Crudup, Mark Duplass, Nestor Carbonell, Karen Pittman, Desean Terry, and Greta Lee. It tells the story of the people who make America’s most popular morning show, and the politics and relationships that go on behind the scenes.

I love this series. The acting and story are next-level excellence, and I can’t wait to see it return. The Morning Show seasons 1 and 2 are available now on Apple TV+.
