The Name of Emilia Clarke's Character in The HAN SOLO Film Has Been Revealed

For anyone who has been dying to know the name of the character that Emilia Clarke is playing in Lucasfilm's upcoming Han Solo movie, today is your lucky day! Actor Michael K. Williams revealed the name during an interview with Vanity Fair. 

Just yesterday we learned that Williams' character was cut from the movie because he wasn't able to participate in the reshoots that director Ron Howard is working on. During the interview offered a few new details on his character and his connection to Han Solo and Clarke's character.

He explained that his character, who is half-human, half-animal, served as "a link between Han Solo and Emilia’s character, Kira."

And there's the character's name! Kira, only it's not spelled the way Vanity Fair spelled it. According to Making Star Wars, the name is spelled, Kura. I will note that that Rey's name from The Force Awakens was originally Kira. I seriously doubt there is any connection, though.

There's still no word on who exactly this Kura character is or the role she will play in the story, but we'll eventually find out! At least now you can all rest easy knowing the name of Emilia Clarke's character. I'm sure this is the most exciting news some of you have read today!
