The New Action Comedy Film COFFEE & KAREEM for Netflix Will Star Ed Helms and Taraji P. Henson
A new Netflix action comedy called Coffee & Kareem has just cast Ed Helms and Taraji P. Henson. The film will be directed by Michael Dowse who will use a 2014 Black List script that was written by Shane McCarthy. Here’s a brief description of what to expect from the plot:
“The story centers on a Detroit cop, who reluctantly teams up with his girlfriend’s 11-year-old son to clear his name and take down the city’s most ruthless criminal.”
No release date has been set for Coffee & Kareem, but I would imagine sometime in 2020. The little bit we know has my interest piqued, so I’ll be keeping an eye out for more as the days go by.
