The New ANIMAL CROSSING: NEW HORIZONS Update Will Let You Visit Other Islands in Your Dreams

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is a very popular game, and this week it’s getting a fun update. The new update launches on July 30 and introduces some fun features like visiting other islands in your dreams. First, let’s talk about fireworks! At 7 PM on every Sunday in August, players will be able to enjoy a fireworks show on their island. You can even redeem Bells for raffle tickets that give you different items and you can create a custom design pattern to be shot in the air as a firework. That’s pretty awesome.

Going back to that dream bit earlier, players can take a nap in their homes using any bed and meet Luna. Luna will give you the chance to visit other islands while you dream and let others on your island by sharing your Dream Address. The catch is that nothing is permanent. On the bright side, that means you don’t have to worry about people mucking up your island.

Finally, the update will provide Nintendo Switch Online members the ability to backup their islands to the cloud so you don’t have to worry about losing all that hard work. The one catch is that in order to restore your data, your Switch must have been lost, stolen, or damaged.
