The New DUNE Movie Gets an Old DUNE Visual Effects Makeover
The gang at Corridor Crew had some fun with Denis Villeneuve’s Dune movie as they recreate some of the VFX work to look like the visual effects from David Lynch's classic 1984 film. So, it’s the new film with the old effects and it’s pretty amusing.
The effects that they mostly focus on are the shields that are used in the fight sequences. In the original movie, those effects are very blocky and kind of funny. Seeing those effects in the modern-day movie makes them seem even funnier. Check it out!
