The New Sonic Design for the SONIC THE HEDGEHOG Movie Has Surfaced
When the first trailer for the upcoming Sonic The Hedgehog movie was released, the fans lashed out because of the really weird character design for Sonic. The backlash was so heavy that Paramount Pictures and director Jeff Fowler decided to redesign the character to give the fans a version of Sonic that looks like Sonic.
Well, it looks like we have our first look at the new Sonic The Hedgehog design, and as you’ll see, it looks a lot more like the character that we all know and love. His overall look has been completely changed. You can check out that design below:

Regardless of the design, the movie is still going to be super weird, and who knows if it will actually be good. After all, the design of the character isn’t going to make the story any better. I have a feeling that Jim Carrey’s Dr. Robotnik is going to end up being the best part of the movie.

SONIC THE HEDGEHOG is a live-action adventure comedy based on the global blockbuster videogame franchise from Sega that centers on the infamously brash bright blue hedgehog. The film follows the (mis)adventures of Sonic as he navigates the complexities of life on Earth with his newfound – human – best friend Tom Wachowski (James Marsden). Sonic and Tom join forces to try and stop the villainous Dr. Robotnik (Jim Carrey) from capturing Sonic and using his immense powers for world domination. The film also stars Tika Sumpter and Ben Schwartz as the voice of Sonic.
